QURANIC VERSES FOR SAFETY FROM BURNING & DROWNING

Eleventh: According to a narration, Imam ‘Ali Amir al-Mu’minin (‘a) is reported to have advised of reciting these Qur’anic verses for security against burning and drowning:

اَللَّهُ الَّذى نَزَّلَ الْكِتابَ وَ هُوَ يَتَوّلَىَ الصّالِحينَ وَ ما قَدَرُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالاَْرْضُ جَميعاً قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيمَةِ وَالسَّمواتُ مَطْوِيّاتٌ بِيَمينِهِ سُبْحانَهُ وَ تَعالى عَمّا يُشْرِكُونَ
